Truth or Consequences, a small Town in New Mexico, acquired its unusual name in 1950 in response to a call from a popular radio quiz show looking for somewhere to host its tenth anniversay broadcast and accompanying fiesta. Photographer artist Nick Waplington, best known for his remarkable Living Room series has been taking photographs in and around the town for eight years. His portrait of small town America shows us the place behind the name, the lives of its people and the landscape they live in, while at the same time constructing a personal tribute to the great American photography.
