One of the best books on photography, we think. For practicioners and students, a lot of images and a few highly concetrated words, that are at the same time easily understandable, make this a very useful book. This nicely produced second edition has more contemporary photographers and we´ve just got to say that we like it very much.
Auch wer sich von englischen Texten normalerweise abschrecken lässt, die hier vorliegenden sind kurz und bündig, die Aussagen werden durch die geniale Zusammenstellung von Fotos vermittelt, (wir halten dieses Buch für eins der besten über Fotografie verfassten), kurz, es wird wohl keine deutsche Übersetzung geben, also empfehlen wir diese (zweite) englische Ausgabe.
