The photo book New York, New York by the Hungarian photographer György Lörinczy (1935-1981) appeared in 1972. The book is a series of experimental images of amongst others the hippie culture, performances, sinuous highways, skyscrapers and street scenes. The sequence of the images, with solarizations, distortions and extreme black and white contrasts make the spirit of the 60s tangible. For the first time the only complete series of original prints from the dummy are presented.
