Zwischen 1966 und 1971 fotografierte William Eggleston, "the first color photographer" (John Szarkowski), mit einer 2/4 inch Kamera. Seine ersten Experimente mit diesem Format und mit der Farbfotografie, zu der er 1966 gelangte, zeigt nun erstmals diese Neuerscheinung.
