This work was commissioned by the Leisure Tourism and Culture Departement of South Holland. It brings together the ways of seeing of 4 Dutch photographers from the region. Wout Berger, known for his photographic work on the polluted sites of Holland and the Ter Appel penalty centre, gives us here some varied samples of his work on the Katwijk aan See beaches, the swamp regions of Leiden and the Bodegraven praires. As for Noor Damen, she was concentrated on men at work in the flower fields. Wijnanda Deroo unveils landscapes exclusively in black and white. And Bertien van Manen creeps inside homes, revealing interiors and gardens and the inscription of these private spaces in the urban or rural landscape, often by means of refelctions in the windowpanes and mirrors.
